The Faces of With this Paw

Vinnie – This energetic puppy came to us ready to learn the basics and channel his excitement into good manners. Vinnie learned essential commands like sit, stay, come, drop it, and leave it—with “leave it” becoming especially helpful in curbing his counter-surfing habits! He’s also making great progress with coming when called, even off-leash, and greeting guests politely without jumping.

Arlo – This handsome pup joined us to work on better listening skills and improve his obedience training. Arlo had a tendency to “tune out” when distracted and loved to dash toward the door when guests arrived. Through consistent training, he learned to respond reliably to cues and stay calmly in place when the door opens. He made wonderful progress and is now a much better listener!

Ottis – Ottis came to us needing help with fear-based reactivity toward men and overarousal when greeting people—especially during play or when someone sat on the couch. Through patient training and clear structure, Ottis learned polite manners, improved his impulse control, and developed a calm routine for meeting new people. He’s made wonderful progress and is much more confident and relaxed around strangers.

Maggie May – A sweet Golden Retriever puppy who learned her manners and mastered calm greetings with guests. She’s making great progress in her puppy class!
